Shajahan is a consummate and experienced professional. He is passionate about bringing the highest actuarial professional standards to Bangladesh.

Shajahan is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), and holds an MSc in Pure Mathematics from the University of Manchester. He has over 21 years of experience in the UK and has held senior positions at the most prestigious global consulting and asset management firms (including firms such as Towers Watson, Mercer and AXA Investment Managers).

Alongside his UK experience, he has gained extensive experience over the last few years interacting with and advising pension and gratuity funds in Bangladesh.

Shajahan’s expertise covers advising institutional clients (pension funds and insurance companies) on actuarial, investment and risk-management matters. He has extensive experience in asset management, structuring derivative and multi-asset portfolios and developing business units to deliver pension and investment products to institutional clients.
